Part 1
- Being able to understand a language that is not your native one.
- Journalling consecutively and flipping through the pages.
- Immersing in a truly beautiful book.
- Seeking knowledge; gaining wisdom.
- The time you learn a new word and then hear it being used.
- Being able to be trusted by others.
- Rare pieces of music that pierce the heart.
- Seeing sunsets. Sunrises. Night stars. The sky any time of the day really and the beauty of nature.
- Maturing spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally.
- Having faith in God.
- The smell and taste of fresh, handmade food. (When it’s good.)
- That moment of waking after a blissful sleep.
- Having people to love and that love you.
- Making art, creating crafts.
- The beauty of giving and helping others.
- Coming across good grammar and punctuation.
- Self-teaching, learning, understanding and mastering. (Long division, I’m looking at you among other things.)
These were just a few wonderful feelings I have experienced, which may not resonate with everyone. Nonetheless, I hope we all are able to experience the very good things in life. Taking time to appreciate these things also reminds us of how much we are blessed with and how even the little things can be rewarding.
