A Poem

-

You were so blinded,

But there was no light.

For you looked away,

And chased the darkness.

Clouding your judgement.

Pursuing your lusts.

-

Nothing ignited.

Lacking the hindsight-

To just find the way.

Now standing helpless,

No end to your hunt,

Always seeking musts.

-

You turn from the truth,

Gaining nothing more,

Forever indulging,

Eternally lost.

Ignorance a crime.

Seek out the truth now.

-

It makes you no sleuth.

What you searching for?

Always divulging.

Never thawing frost.

Rather freeze in time.

Just embrace; allow.

-

And you shall see what you failed to see before.

And you will stop what you had begun.

And begin afresh.

وَلَا تَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّذِينَ نَسُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ فَأَنسَىٰهُمْ أَنفُسَهُمْ ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْفَـٰسِقُونَ

-‘And do not be like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget themselves. It is they who are ˹truly˺ rebellious.’ ~ The Qur’an- 59:19

-This poem can be read in a non-linear fashion at times too.-
