13:24 —

Hello? Can you hear me? I know there is a lot of noise in the background, with all the screaming and buildings still crumbling from the impact of the latest attack of bombs. But I can’t do anything about that, can I? It is not in my hands to control, so quit blaming me, will you?

Uh. Excuse my abruptness, it’s just that I don’t know how long this will last and it has already been going on for so very long. We are tired and hungry and trying to hold on even while we feel our insides fracture. Have you seen the photos and the videos trying but failing to capture the extent of the destruction or are you ignorant to our pain?

They close the eyes of the dead because they have seen enough and there is nothing else left to see if this life. But you have yet to see anything and your eyes are already sealed?

Utter madness; such sadness.
