A Poem

-

Good mourning, dear,

No pointless morning.

What did you gain from crying?

Escape from your daze of the weak.

Leave the unnecessary baggage behind,

Your back was not meant to hold this world.

Nor is it a target, so quit turning it on the archer.

You don’t believe the news when they say all your people are terrorists, so why do you believe them now, when they tell you xyz?

Some things never existed before the invention of others.

They say it’s easier to voice it all than write it down.

But what shall you do when they silence you?

I can only leave you notes between the pages of this book.

You loved to play dot-to-dot,

Yet, you fail to connect the dots now.

This is your cost for the disservice.

No refunds.

Just exchange your freedom.

The receipt is left in your will.

But will you act or stay docile?
