A Poem

-

Found you in loss.

Found a reason to love,

Found a reason to lose.

Gardens of hope but you’re still hopeless.

You sowed the seeds but didn’t water them.

You should know your tears are too salty to grow buds.

Too frequent that it would bring floods upon them.

You would drown them whole.

But maybe that is your plan?

Maybe that is what you intend to do.

Yet, you are not the villain you think you are.

Can’t exactly call you a hero either though.

Maybe that’s the point.

The point may not be that.

But whatever it is,

Is it?

Words ought to come easily to me, I’m a writer.

And they do,

Just not when it comes to you.

Let me ask-

Do you aspire to be a builder?

Because these walls you have built are made very well and tall.
