Stop waiting for a moment that may never come to do something better in your life. Start doing it now.
Don’t have a reason to better yourself? Find one. Because no one is perfect and we always have room to improve. If you truly care about yourself- which you ought to- then you’ll see that improving and bettering yourself is one of the greatest acts of self-love and appreciation there is. To keep working so that you can be something more than you are now is empowering and so worth it. You are so worth it. And that is why you are going to do better.
You have been gifted this life, so make the most of it. Stop stalling and waiting for a reason when you are the reason. The ones who get things done just go for it, their motivation rooted within. The knowledge that the result of their actions are so they can carry on and make more of life is their driving force.
Of course, it can be daunting but the truth is, we are never going to be truly ready for what will happen because we don’t know what will happen but that doesn’t serve as an excuse to say you’re not ready. Because be honest with yourself, when will you be ready if not now? Next week? But when that turns into next month and next month turns into a year and you just let years pass you, you haven’t done anything to better yourself. You’ve simply failed yourself. Stop waiting for death, when life is waiting for you.
Are you content with just letting life pass you? Or are you supposedly waiting for some magical moment to be the day you make a change? When that moment may never come because you never acknowledge it.
Don’t make milestones time to change; make changes milestones.
You have to make that move. Yes, you. You are going to have to move from your current ways if they don’t allow you to better yourself. You are going to make your life so much more because it’s your greatest gift. And you are going to make yourself the best you can be. But that isn’t a short-term hobby, it will be a lifelong journey. Scratch that. It’ll be life itself. Your wonderful life.
So stop waiting for something when your life is that something special and you are the reason.
